Check-in
Check-in is how you confirm you are present and ready to play. Not every tournament uses it. If yours does, you must check in before the window closes or you will not be in the bracket.
When check-in is open
Open the tournament's Info & rules tab. If the tournament uses check-in, it shows a Check-in row with the opening and closing times, in the tournament's time zone.
The window has two possible closes:
- A closing time the organizer set.
- The tournament's start time, if the organizer chose to end check-in when the tournament starts.
If both apply, the earlier one wins. If the organizer starts the first stage before the closing time, check-in ends then.
You can only check in once your registration is approved. A pending registration cannot check in.
How to check in
- Open the tournament page while the window is open.
- Select Check in. The button is in the tournament header, where your registration status normally shows.
- The status changes to Checked in, and you get a confirmation notification.
You can also reach the tournament from the check-in reminder, the Up next area on your home page, or the notification bell.
In a tournament that requires a linked Epic Games account, check-in also needs every active player in your lineup to have one linked. See Epic Games account.
Who checks in for a team
In a team tournament, the team's owner or a team leader checks in for the whole team. Other roster players see Team checked in or Team not checked in, so they know whether to ask a leader.
Reminders
When the check-in window opens, 360clash sends one reminder to the people who manage an entry: a solo player, or for a team the person who entered it (the team's leaders if that person can no longer manage the team). It arrives as a notification and an email, with a Check in button. It is sent once per tournament, not repeatedly.
If you turn on browser notifications, the "Check-in is open" notification can also reach you while 360clash is open in another tab. See Chat and notifications.
If you miss check-in
Nobody is given a loss for missing check-in. Instead, an entry that has not checked in when the first stage starts is left out of the bracket. The seat is removed, and any entry fee is refunded. You are told by notification and email.
Only the first stage is gated by check-in. Players who advance into later stages do not check in again.
An organizer can still check an entry in by hand, so if you missed it by a little, contact the organizer before the stage starts.
If the tournament has no check-in
If the Info & rules tab shows no check-in row before the tournament starts, you do not need to do anything. Your approved entry is seated in the first stage.
