Payout hold
When a paid tournament completes, its prizes and fees are scheduled to pay out automatically. The payout hold lets you delay them while you check the results. It is for organizers and tournament staff.
When payouts happen
After the tournament completes, prizes and fees are paid out automatically once a short wait has passed. The Payouts card on the Standings tab shows the date. This is the window for reviewing final standings and disputes. See Disputes.
When payouts are scheduled, the organization owner and tournament staff get a Payouts scheduled notification and an email with the release date. The email links to Review final standings. Completion can happen on its own when the last stage ends, so the email is how you learn that the clock started.
What a hold does
A hold moves every payout to a later date, up to a fixed limit after the tournament was completed. The Hold payouts dialog shows that date before you confirm. Winners get a Prize On Hold notification with the new date and your reason, and see the reason next to the pending prize in their wallet.
- You can hold once. A reason is required, up to 500 characters.
- The hold delays the money. It never keeps it. Payouts release automatically when the hold runs out, and nobody at 360clash has to resolve it.
- You can lift the hold at any time. Payouts return to their normal time, or are paid within minutes if that time has already passed. Lifting never makes payouts earlier than normal.
- Lifting does not give you a second hold.
How to hold payouts
- Open the tournament in your organizer dashboard and go to the Standings tab. The Payouts card shows the scheduled date.
- Select Hold payouts. The dialog shows the date the payouts move to.
- Enter a reason, for example what you are checking. Winners see it.
- Select Hold payouts to confirm.
To end it early, select Lift hold on the same card and confirm.
Anyone who is allowed to reopen the tournament can hold or lift. That is the owner and staff assigned to this tournament.
If results are wrong
A hold only delays. To correct results, reopen the tournament, fix them, and finalize again. Reopening deletes the scheduled payouts and a new schedule is written, with a new hold available. You cannot reopen once any payout has been paid.
